We need constant interaction with Christian friends. If we keep to ourselves, the only voice we hear is our own. And because it’s our own voice, whatever thoughts we dwell on begin to seem real.
The way of a fool is right in his own eyes,
But he who heeds counsel is wise.
When thoughts start rattling around in your head and become troublesome, share them with a trusted friend. Maybe you’ll hear yourself say, “Hmm – that doesn’t make sense out loud.” 🙂
