Proverbs Challenge, Day 22

KeysI’ve mentioned several times that my current¬†definition of wisdom is seeing things from God’s perspective. My mental image is of a high vantage point, that gives a view of not just around the corner, but of the whole road, from beginning to end. Another mental image is of a human-sized maze – from God’s perspective, the path is obvious, and it’s easy to know which way to turn at ever corner.

A prudent person foresees danger and takes precautions.
The simpleton goes blindly on and suffers the consequences.
(Proverbs 22:3 NLT)

I don’t know about you, but I’m really tired of suffering the consequences of the simpleton. Let’s be diligent about seeking¬†God’s wisdom for every aspect of our lives.

Trust in the LORD with all your heart,
And lean not on your own understanding;
In all your ways acknowledge Him,
And He shall direct your paths.
(Proverbs 3:5-6)
